Our editorial mission

JustFavs is built on a simple idea: help people discover genuinely interesting products without the hype, the noise, or the sponsored spin. Every piece of content on this site, from product features to blog posts, exists to serve that mission. We write for readers, not for algorithms.

Independence

Our editorial team makes all selection and coverage decisions independently of our affiliate or advertising relationships. A product's commission rate has zero influence on whether we feature it or how we write about it. We recommend products because we believe they're worth your attention, not because they pay well.

No brand can pay for placement, buy a positive review, or have editorial input on our content. If we ever accept sponsored content in the future, it will be clearly labeled as such, no exceptions.

Our blog contributors

Our blog features posts from a small team of contributors, each with a distinct voice and perspective. Some posts are published under pen names that reflect a specific editorial personality, a creative choice that lets us explore products from different angles and keep the writing fresh.

Some blog content is created with the assistance of AI tools and reviewed by our editorial team before publication. We use these tools to help draft and explore ideas, but every post reflects our editorial judgment. We're transparent about this because we believe readers deserve to know how content is made.

Accuracy and fact-checking

We strive for accuracy in everything we publish. Before a product is featured, we verify key details, price, specifications, materials, and availability, against the retailer's own listings. We cross-reference buyer reviews and independent sources where possible.

That said, product details change. Prices shift, models get updated, and items go out of stock. We can't guarantee that every detail is current at the moment you read it, which is why we always link directly to the retailer so you can verify before you buy.

Corrections

Mistakes happen. When we get something wrong, a factual error, an outdated price, a broken link, we fix it as soon as we're aware. If you spot an error, please contact us and we'll correct it promptly. Significant corrections will be noted on the affected content.

Product reviews vs. opinions

Most of what we publish are curated recommendations and editorial commentary, not hands-on product reviews unless we explicitly state otherwise. We research products thoroughly, but we don't always have physical access to every item we feature. When we do test a product hands-on, we'll say so. When we're drawing on research and buyer feedback, we'll be honest about that too.
