Transparency about how JustFavs earns money, and why it doesn't change what we recommend.
The short version
JustFavs participates in affiliate programs, including the Amazon Associates program. When you click a product link on our site and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission, at no additional cost to you. This never influences which products we feature or how we write about them.
What is an affiliate link?
An affiliate link is a special URL that tracks referrals from our site to a retailer. If you click one of these links and buy something, the retailer pays us a small percentage of the sale as a thank-you for sending you their way. It's a common model used by publishers and content creators across the web.
You pay the exact same price you would have paid anyway, the commission comes out of the retailer's margin, not your wallet.
Amazon Associates
JustFavs is a participant in the Amazon Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases.
Editorial independence
This is the part that matters most to us: affiliate commissions do not influence our editorial decisions. We feature products because we believe they're worth your attention, not because they pay the highest commission. In fact, many of the products we recommend earn us little or nothing, and we feature them anyway.
No retailer or brand can pay to be featured, to move up in our lists, or to receive preferential treatment. Our selections are made independently, based on the criteria described in our How We Choose Products page.
Other affiliate relationships
In addition to Amazon, we may participate in affiliate programs with other retailers and brands. The same rules apply across the board: affiliate relationships never dictate what we cover or how we cover it.
Why we use affiliate links
Affiliate commissions help us keep JustFavs running. They allow us to fund the research, writing, and curation that goes into every collection, without charging readers or cluttering the site with display ads. If you find our recommendations helpful, shopping through our links is an easy way to support what we do at no cost to you.
Of course, you're never obligated to use our links. If you'd prefer to navigate to a retailer directly, that's completely fine, we're just glad you found something you like.
