The Geometry of the Sticky Note

Most people see a stack of paper and think about lists. I see a perfect module for human interaction.

These OHOME sticky notes arrived in a bundle of twelve, and honestly, the heft of the stack is what sold me first. There is a density here that signals intent.

When you hold the pad, it sits perfectly in the palm, heavy enough to feel substantial but light enough to not fatigue your wrist during long drafting sessions. The 3 by 3 inch dimension is the golden ratio of office supplies, providing exactly enough room for a quick sketch of a joist connection without encouraging the clutter of a full page.

I am a sucker for the adhesive strip too. It releases with a satisfying, low friction pull that does not curl the paper like those cheaper, inferior brands.

These are vibrant, tactile, and structurally sound. They are essentially small, modular monuments of color for your desk.

If you are still using those sad, flimsy off brand squares that fall off the wall after five minutes, you are wasting your time. Just get these, keep them in a neat tower, and admire how they hold their shape.

It is architecture, just at a much smaller scale.
