Slashing Sausages and Other Sensible Pursuits

I have always maintained that if something can be engineered to be more efficient, it should be. The SLOTDOG is a weird little contraption that scores your hot dogs so they spiral outward when grilled.

It looks like a brutalist gardening tool for your dinner. While most people see a kitchen gadget, I see something that creates more surface area for flavor, which is exactly how I feel when I aggressively prune my overgrown Monsteras to encourage new leaf growth.

It is oddly satisfying to watch the blades sink in with such precision. My apartment is mostly occupied by ferns and spider plants that do not enjoy processed meats, but the grill is mine.

This tool is sharp, heavy, and delightfully uncomplicated. It turns a boring tube of mystery meat into something that looks like an exotic desert succulent.

If you want to impress your friends or simply enjoy a snack that looks like a geometric marvel, this is a solid twenty two dollar investment. Plus, it cleans up easily, leaving more time for me to mist the Calatheas before they start throwing a humidity tantrum.

It is a tiny, stainless steel victory for anyone who appreciates a good pattern.
