My apartment is currently a green blur. Between the trailing pothos and the brooding fiddle leaf fig, my walls are disappearing.
I found this 11x14 framed watercolor print on Amazon for 12.59 dollars. It is titled Today Is a Good Day.
The pink and orange pigments are aggressive, honestly. They clash with my ferns in a way that feels almost intentional.
It is nice to look at something that is not photosynthetic for a change.
The canvas quality is decent for the price. I wedged it between a stack of gardening journals and a spider plant.
It stays put well enough, even when the cat tries to use the frame as a scratching post. The orange hue actually picks up the rust spots on my older terracotta pots.
It is weirdly cohesive.
Here is why it works:
- It is lightweight so it does not collapse my shelves.
- The colors pop against dark foliage.
- It acts as a reminder that indoor air quality is not the only thing that matters.
If you need a wall decoration that does not require watering, pruning, or talking to, this is a solid pick. It is simple, slightly garish, and surprisingly grounded.
I quite like it.
